“I was first introduced to subluxation based chiropractic care as senior at Florida State University in 1998. My friend and mentor, Dr. Edwin Cordero, gave me my first chiropractic adjustment and it changed my life.
I had suffered from sinusitis and acid reflux / heart burn for years, due to injuries to my neck and mid back while playing sports when I was younger. Those injuries to my spine, which were never corrected, affected how my nerve system was functioning and therefore, how I was functioning. After Dr. Cordero explained the Principles of Chiropractic to me, he adjusted me. The next day, I woke up for the first time in 15 years being able to breathe out of BOTH nostrils and with no heartburn. I changed my major from pre-med focus, to Food, Movement and Nutrition Science (a more chiropractically oriented major), and praise God every day of practice for this path.”
